Joe turned his footage into the Netflix documentary, I Am Not Your Guru. Suddenly, people all over the world gained never before released access to Tony and his life-changing teachings.

Joe Berlinger is well-known for creating dark documentaries about rock singers and serial killers —a far cry from the topics of personal power, healing relationships, creating your destiny and becoming your true self. But after attending Date with Destiny himself, Joe experienced how Tony’s methods moved him from the dark to the light in his own life, and he knew he needed to make this movie to share this experience with even greater audiences.
Tony and Sage were unsure about the idea when Joe first approached them to make a documentary. Date with Destiny is Tony’s most intimate event – how would letting Joe’s Netflix camera crew inside affect the impact and transformations?
Joe was persistent and, after months of convincing Tony and Sage that his crew would not interrupt the event, I Am Not Your Guru was born.
