What Unleash the Power Within (UPW) Can Do for Teens: Real Stories, Tools, and New Opportunities
Ever wondered if taking a teenager to a Tony Robbins event is worth it? Maybe you’re a teen yourself, dreading the idea of spending four intense days at a seminar full of mostly adults, jumping around and “unleashing” something you don’t quite understand yet. I get it. That’s why I sat down with two incredible teens, Payton (14) and Sabian (11) Harris from Arlington, TX, who recently attended the Dallas UPW event. Their honest insights reveal what UPW really means for young people—and why it’s a game-changer.
What Teens Really Expect—and What They Get
Payton and Sabian only found out they were going to UPW the day before it started. Despite the short notice, they had some ideas about what to expect.
Payton shared, “I heard from my dad about the videos and jumping, but I didn’t expect to get so much content. It really expands your mind. At our age, school feels like survival mode—stress, pressure, and not much space to actually live. UPW lets you use your mind to live, not just survive.”
Sabian added, “I wanted to connect more and get rid of excuses like ‘I’m just a kid, I can’t make money.’ The pace is intense. My advice? Don’t expect the first day to change everything. It’s more like the second or third day when you really start to get in state, and by the fourth day, you’re accelerating.”

One of the most iconic moments at UPW is the Firewalk—a powerful metaphor for overcoming fear and committing to your goals. Both Payton and Sabian walked across hot coals on their first day.
Sabian said, “You have to get in state or fear will conquer you. Walking on fire felt like being Superman. It wasn’t about my feet; it was about following through on a promise to myself.”
